For more than twenty-five years, my family and I have spent many weeks vacationing along the North Carolina coast. Being able to enjoy all that coastal living offered prompted us to move here permanently in 2007. And witnessing the remarkable growth in the area has only reinforced the idea that it was a sound decision.
Prior to relocating, I owned and operated a successful home repair/renovation business for more than 30 years. The most important lesson I learned during those years is the importance of courteous and effective customer service. Utilizing old school values and good negotiating skills are invaluable in creating successful working relationships in any marketplace.
During this time, I also worked as a licensed real estate appraiser through which I acquired a working knowledge of property values. And this area is fast becoming a sought-after destination for those seeking not only value but also their lifestyle of choice.
